Welcome to Resilient Kids

Resilient children bounce back in difficult situations and keep going, despite adversity.

Some children have this quality in bucket loads.

Others have to learn it.

Teaching children to be resilient means they can weather the ups and downs of life with more confidence.

Resilient Kids is a private psychology practice providing focussed and individualised strategies to empower children and their families to develop resilience.

Resilient Kids is committed to providing successful outcomes for children of all ages and their families. We work with you and your child to achieve your goals, by maximising the potential in each child through a strengths-based approach.

We are happy to meet you to talk through your issues.  If we have a program that is suitable for your child, then we can discuss the options available to you and your family.

The delivery of telehealth services in response to the COVID-19 crisis

In response to the current crisis, the Australian Government has authorised bulk-billed sessions for children under 16. These can be accessed through a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. In addition to the newly introduced Medicare arrangements, private health and NDIS clients are still able to access services through their providers. Please call Michelle on 3902 1973 to discuss the best options for your child.

Group Programs

Six-week group programs are available. If your child would benefit from developing strategies to beat anxiety, manage anger better, improve social skills or enhance learning through unlocking the power of the brain, give Resilient Kids a call now on  (07) 3902 1973. Medicare rebates are available for eligible individuals.
